*******Playing Outside in Northwest Weather**********

The Washington Administrative Code
(WAC) 388-295-2130 (1) requires child care
Facilities to provide outdoor playtime activities for all children in their programs. This means that even in the rain, children need to go outside and play!
Remember, your child doesn’t get sick from playing outside in the rain. Colds are caused by viruses, not wet clothes, so it’s safe for kids to play in the rain.

************Updated Contact Numbers***************
It is very important that we have the most current information for parents in case of emergency. Please check in with the office to update your numbers.
Easter Seals Little Aviators Emergency Fund
A $25.00 yearly fee will be applied to the February billing for an emergency fund managed by the LACCC. The fund is meant to enable continuous center operation should an emergency occur.

***************Tuition Assistance******************
For the purpose of assisting families to pay for childcare, The Little Aviators Child Care Corporation has established a Tuition Assistance (TAP). Funds donated through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) are used to assist these families. The CFC is a fund-raising program that solicits contributions from federal or military personnel. Eligibility for assistance is based on gross household income and the portion of income needed for childcare.

****************Inclement Weather*************
During bad weather, the center may be closed. The center follows federal government closure plans for weather conditions and is on the same schedule as the FAA Regional office. If the federal government is closed during a work day, parents are expected to pick up their child as quickly as possible. For school delays or closures please call 425-227-1968 or 425-917-0717 after 5:00am
